Welcome to the spring workshop of the Finnish Phytoplankton Society on diatoms from 6.-7.5.2025 in Joensuu. The guest teacher will be Prof. Dr. Bart van de Vijver from Belgium.

The participation fee for the diatom spring workshop is 75 € for members and 125 € for non-members before 15.3.2025 (and 100/150 € after this date). Student members can attend free of charge. The participation fee for undergraduate students or pensioners outside the club is €25.

Registration by 4th of April via the Ilmarix registration system. To get the registration link and all other information related to the workshop, please contact the treasurer by Email (see Contact, rahastonhoitaja@…).

Participants are invited to bring samples and photographs of their samples. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to give a short presentation if they wish. Presentations should be notified in advance to the Board of the Finnish Phytoplankton Society.

The participation fee for the dinoflagellate spring workshop is 100 € for members and 120 € for non-members. Student and pensioner members can attend free of charge. The participation fee for undergraduate students or pensioners outside the club is €50. The one-day fee is €50 for members and €70 for non-members (€25 for students).
